I want you to know that it means a lot to have you consider me for taking your wedding photos. I am always in awe of what a big responsibility my job is, and am so honored to have had so many amazing people over the years put their full and complete trust in me. I want you to know that I really put my heart and soul into every wedding I shoot. One thing I really love about my job is that every wedding and every love story is so unique, and I believe it deserves to be told in the most authentic way possible. I take great care in the shooting and editing of each wedding, to ensure that the end product really screams "you".

So, what can you expect from the day of?

My overall approach to a wedding is to try and step back and just capture things as they unfold. I don't want to be having you pretend to do x,y, and z- I want to wait for those moments to happen naturally. That being said, I do know that everyone isn't used to having their photo taken for 12 hours straight, and 99% of us feel somewhat awkward or uncomfortable in the spotlight like that. I will help you throughout the day, and guide you with posing and general tips on getting the most out of your photos. I try and "direct" more than straight up posing, so that the photos I capture have movement and life to them, and you don't feel stiff while the photo is being taken. I also will help during the family photos wrangle and pose everyone so everyone is happy with the end result.

Overall, I just want you guys to have fun. I want the photo taking to be secondary to being present in the moment. I want you to have as much time with your guests as possible, and not look back on the day and only remember taking photos. By planning things out beforehand and keeping the photo taking overall more casual and candid we can make that happen.
